Runewood Rosary Company x Religious Demonologist Adam Blai Spiritual Warfare Rosary

Created in collaboration with Adam Blai, host of The Demonologist Podcast, this rosary honors Our Lady of Sorrows and invites reflection on the Blessed Virgin Mary’s suffering alongside her Son. 

Adam Blai is a Catholic author and Church-decreed Peritus (expert) in religious demonology and exorcism, with more than 20 years of experience in the field. He has assisted at solemn exorcisms and investigated thousands of cases involving reported demonic activity and hauntings. An auxiliary member of the Rome-based International Association of Exorcists, he teaches at the Pope Leo XIII Institute, helping train priests for exorcism ministry. As host of The Demonologist Podcast, he brings a distinctly Catholic perspective to spiritual warfare, emphasizing confidence in Christ, prayer, and the sacramental life of the Church.

That same approach shaped this collaboration. Rooted in traditional Catholic imagery, the rosary’s restrained design keeps the focus on prayer. Black-stained wood Hail Mary beads, larger charcoal-stained wood Our Father beads, and deep burgundy paracord create a somber palette that reflects the seriousness of spiritual warfare.

At its center is an Italian-made Miraculous Medal, a reminder to seek the Blessed Virgin Mary’s intercession. A distinctive double-sided medal depicts Our Lady of Sorrows and Ecce Homo, placing the sorrow of the Mother beside the suffering of her Son and recalling the Passion through which Christ conquered sin and death.

The rosary ends in an Italian-made St. Benedict crucifix. It brings together the image of the Crucified Christ and a medal traditionally associated with prayers for protection against evil and temptation.
