St. Ambrose Rosary
DESCRIPTION
The St. Ambrose Rosary
Inspired by St. Ambrose of Milan, bishop, Doctor of the Church, and one of the great teachers of the early Christian world, the St. Ambrose Rosary combines warm natural tones with rugged construction designed for everyday prayer.
Brown-stained wood Hail Mary beads give the rosary a rich, understated character, while genuine Tiger Eye gemstone Our Father beads introduce natural bands of gold, amber, and deep brown throughout the decades. Each stone carries its own variation, giving every finished rosary a slightly different appearance.
The St. Ambrose Rosary is completed with an Italian-made silver-toned Pardon Crucifix, an Italian-made silver-toned Latin Miraculous Medal centerpiece, and an Italian-made silver-toned St. Ambrose medal.
St. Ambrose is remembered for his courage as Bishop of Milan, his defense of Catholic teaching, and his influence on the conversion of St. Augustine. The earthy brown palette and restrained silver-toned hardware give this rosary a fittingly traditional character for a saint whose strength, intellect, and fidelity helped shape the Church of the fourth century.
Each St. Ambrose Rosary is individually handmade in the Fargo, North Dakota area by local Catholics. It is not a completed rosary mass-produced overseas and imported for resale. We source carefully selected components, including genuine gemstones and Italian-made devotional hardware, and construct the finished rosary here in the United States.
Built with durable USA-made 95 paracord and substantial 10mm beads, the St. Ambrose Rosary is made to be carried, handled, worn, and prayed with regularly. It is also backed by the Runewood lifetime warranty.
